Originally from the Los Angeles area, I came to UCLA in September 1988 as an undergraduate. I received my B.S. in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics in December 1992, and stayed on at UCLA to enroll in medical school in August 1993. After deciding that nine years in Los Angeles was enough time in one spot, I received my M.D. in May 1997 and left to begin my residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Washington, Seattle. Residency was completed in June 2000, and I have since started a Clinician-Teacher Fellowship at the Seattle VA Medical Center in order to continue to improve my teaching skills and continue with creating sites like this one.
Although I am no longer at UCLA, I am still continuing to work on and improve this site in my (infrequent) spare time. The most recent update has included a major overhaul to the graphical interface. I’d love to hear of any other suggestions for improvement, or comments if you found the site useful. You can contact me by clicking on the button below.
